Phillips Publishing seeks highly qualified authors to grow its collection of textbooks,
and encourages prospective authors to consider writing or editing educational or
research material in Arabic.   Thanks to the agile technology of lulu.com, Phillips
Publishing can put books on the market in record time.  Also, books published by
Phillips Publishing receive an ISBN upon publication, and are subsequently listed
with www.amazon.com, and with books.google.com, within a few weeks of their
publication --- thereby affording published material worldwide visibility and
accessibility.   Prospective authors/ editors are encouraged to send proposals and
ideas to Phillips Editorial.

Final manuscripts submitted to Phillips Publishing must be submitted as a high
resolution (300 dpi)  Adobe distilled pdf file in the following format:

  • Be in reverse order, so that the last page of the manuscript must appear as the
    first page of the pdf file.
  • Have an even number of pages; also, the last page must be blank.  Hence if
    your book has an even number of pages, you must add two blank pages to it, at
    least one of which is at the end.   All pages must be numbered.
  • Size must be 8.5 inch by 11.00 inch.  Margins must be at least 0.5 inches on
    each side; top and bottom margins must be equal, as well as left and right
    margins
  • The  copyright page, which typically follows the title page, must adhere to the
    following format.  The ISBN field remains blank until the pdf file is loaded, we
    obtain an ISBN, then the pdf file is re-edited with the ISBN number and
    reloaded.
  • Unless specified otherwise, all book interiors are in black and white; hence pdf
    files must not contain colored material, only grayscale.
  • Have all the fonts used in the document embedded in the pdf file.

Files that do not conform to this standard cannot be processed by our printing service.
